Express Newark (EN) is a University–community collaboratory and interdisciplinary learning space where artists and community residents collaborate, experiment, and innovate in partnership with Rutgers University–Newark faculty, staff, and students to engage in creative practice, foster democratic dialogue, and promote positive transformation. Express Newark is located in the iconic Hahnes & Co. building in Newark, New Jersey.
The Design Consortium is a student-teacher collaborative design studio. As a member of the DC, I was able to take part in the design and development of signage and wayfinding solutions for Express Newark.
